The SUNA Representative Programme
The SUNA Representative Program is a selective programme that supports talented players from our competitions to pursue a netball development pathway.
With a dedicated and experienced team of coaches, we field Representative teams in 11 & Under, 13 & Under, 15 & Under and 17 & Under. All teams train weekly on Sunday and participate in selected carnivals.
Representative Netball is a selective development programme for players whose priority sport is netball and who are interested in developing and being a part of the development pathway for netballers. To qualify for selection in the 11&U, 13&U, 15&U and 17&U age categories all players must play in a SUNA competition for an affiliated club/ team.
As a selective and development programme, we expect players and families to prioritise weekly training sessions (Sunday mornings) and selected carnivals throughout the year (advised once the carnival programme is released). This ensures strong and consistent development for both individual players and their team and is fair for all players who make the commitment to their netball development and team. We have a 90% attendance requirement at training sessions. This is tracked and managed during the year.
Trials are held in November each year. Players trial age group should be considered by the age they will turn in 2026. For example: if you turn 13 in November 2025 you would trial for 15&U because you will turn 14 in 2026. If you turn 15 on 25th January 2026 you should trial for 15&U. If you wish to trial for an older Rep division, please contact us to discuss before submitting your application.
As an indication of age:
11 & under (born 2015 & 2016), 13 & under (born 2013 & 2014), 15 & under (born 2011 & 2012) and 17 & under (born 2009 & 2010).

Nomination through PlayHQ, (two positions must be selected) and non-refundable trial payment of $ 25 plus PlayHQ processing fee nominations close

Trial 1
Sunday 16th November 2025 9:00 am to 11:00 am
11 & U arrive at 8:45 AM
13 & U arrive at 8:45 AM
15 & U and 17 & U arrive at 8:45 AM
Trial will include Warm Up, Movement Skills, Basic Ball Handling, Ball Handling with Movement and Match Play.
Players will be advised if they have progressed to Trial 2 by Wednesday 19th November 2025.
Trial 2
Sunday 23rd November 2025 9:00 am to 11:00 am
11 & U arrive at 8:30 AM
13 & U arrive at 8:30 AM
15 & U and 17 & U arrive at 8:30 AM
Match Play
Players will be advised if they have progressed to full selection by close of business; 26th November 2025.
Introductory Training

Upon successful selection in a SUNA 11 & U, 13 & U, 15 & U and 17 & U Reps team $340*/** must be paid immediately through Play HQ plus processing fee to secure a position. Responses are required by 1 December 2025 (link to register will be sent within email advice).
(*This fee includes $ 50 refundable deposit for Reps dress hire). ** Subject to Carnival fees for 2026.
